Privacy
What we keep about you.
Short version: no cookies on this site, no advertising, no tracking by other sites, and nothing is sold. PlantCraft installed at a plant sends nothing to us or to anyone else.
This site
- No cookies and no analytics from other sites. The page loads nothing from other sites.
- Counting visits. The page tells our own server when it opens and, every 30 seconds, that it is still in front, so we know how many people read the site and for how long. We keep the page, the site you came from (its name only), your country as Cloudflare guesses it and the times, never your address: one browser on one day is told apart by a code that changes every day and cannot be traced back to you.
- Delivery. The site and the demo are delivered through Cloudflare, which sees your network address and the pages you ask for, as any web host does. We see only aggregate traffic (how many visits, from which countries).
- Questions to the assistant. Your question and the conversation so far are sent to a language model provider (OpenAI) to write the answer. We keep the questions, without your name or address, to learn what people ask and improve the documentation. Your address is held in memory for a day at most, only to limit how many questions one address can ask.
- Contact requests. When you fill in Talk to us, we keep what you wrote (name, e-mail, company, need, and your questions if you agreed) to answer you, and nothing else is done with it.
The public demo
- The demo runs on simulated data only. It is a separate machine: no real plant and no customer installation is connected to it, ever.
- It uses one cookie, for the visit's sign-in, which ends with the visit.
- It keeps a record of each visit: when it started, how long it was used and how long you waited in line, without your address. The sign-in log keeps the network address a visit came from, as for any sign-in. Nothing you type in the demo is saved.
PlantCraft at your plant
An installation runs on your own servers and sends nothing out: no telemetry, no usage data, no updates check. A language model is off until your administrator turns it on and chooses which provider, or a model on your own network.
